Lolli balm Product Review | b1tsandbeautyy

Hello Everyone
Happy Thursday ! Today's blog is a product review on a product I have recently purchased and am loving ! I find it very funny how I have never done a product review ! Also a big thank you for nearly 2k pageviews !!!!

The lolli balm is a lip balm/stick by benefit, which as you know is my go to makeup brand. It is part of a collection including the posiebalm, benebalm and cha cha balm. You can also purchase the tints which are lollitint, benetint, positing and cha cha tint !

Lolli balm is a pink colour, I have had the mini 1.4g version which I got in the frisky six set ! Last weekend I purchased the full sized version recently for £14.50 which can been seen as expensive but I believe that it is good and reasonable for the product you get !

The reason I love the lollibalm so much is because it's a lovely colour for everyday and school. Also it smells absolutely amazing and it is most probably the most moisturising lip product I own. It also stays on your lips for a good 4-5 hours, which is good for a lip product as most of my other lip products only last about 10 minutes before they are gone !

I think is you are looking for a good quality lip balm which you can wear everyday and that will benefit your lips than one of the benefit balms is definitely what you should be looking at. They may be more expensive than drugstore brands but they are definitely worth it

Beauty hacks | B1tsandbeautyy

Hi guys
Hope you are all having a great week and happy Tuesday ! Today's post is highly recommended and I was so excited to write about it. I hope you enjoy

Conceal- when you are applying concealer the best way to do it is to brush stroke it in triangle shape under your eyes not to dot because it leaves your under eyes looking smoother and more natural.

Mascara - if you have just ran out of your favourite, most expensive mascara all you have to do is too re use the brush with other mascara and you will still get really good results.

Eyeliner- when lining your eyes always draw the outline in pencil and fill them in with liquid as it will be easier for you to rub out parts of it and redo it.

Mascara- Has your mascara has dried out ? No problem !! All you have to do is put it in a cup of warm water and you will get so much more out of the container!

Makeup- To get the best results from your makeup always apply it in natural or white light.

Bags - No I am unfortunately not talking about the designer bags; I am talking about those horrible bruised looking bags under your eyes. The most efficient way to get rid of that bluey tinge is too use a orange concealer/ primer.

Thank you very much for reading !! If you would like to see more hacks leave a comment below and I will see you on Thursday.

AEOS skincare review

Hi Guys
Hope you are having a good day? Firstly sorry for the delay in posting, I received a fantastic product kit from AEOS which  has so many products in it,it's  taken me a while to try them all out. As usual I want to give you guys the most honest review I can, so that's the reason for my delay in posting.....I have and am continuing to try these products out.   Secondly a big shout out to AEOS for sending the skincare kit. I have included the link to the products below. Enjoy !

So to the Product review :

The kit which I received has 10 Products which all claim to have differing, beneficial qualitys for your skin. I like the product branding, it is clean, clear and straightforward.

Refreshing Hydrating Mist : This has to be my favourite product in the kit, it is essentially a mist which your spray onto your face. It's my favourite because it has an amazing smell, provides an immediate refreshing feeling to your skin as soon as you spray it and helps rehydrates skin. I have used this the most.

Cleansing Oil dé-maq:  I've never used a cleansing oil before, so this was a first for me. I didn't know what to expect, but I must say it felt really good, was quick to remove my make up, smells really nice  (a bit like fresh plants) and after using it my skin didn't feel greasy.

Realive serum : This is a face serum, it was easy to apply, felt great and is so good for your skin. It is amazing and is not sticky like other face serums I have used before.

Dew Facial Wash : This is such a nice facial wash, smells good, is soft on my skin and left my skin feeling soft after I had dried it. The only down side is I was spraying it in my hands before applying it to my face and was losing quite a lot of it before I got it on my face. Needless to say I have used quite a lot of it already!

Gentle cleansing Lotion : I have used this lotion the most at the moment as I love what it does for my skin as it makes it feel super fresh and replenesish my skin. Like all the products there is a great feeling knowing that it's organic and I think that adds to the overall feeling.

Gentle Exfoliatant : Another really nice product, I have been using it in the mornings, it's really gentle on the skin but you can feel it exfoliating. It's certainly not harsh on the skin as some of the other exfoliators I have used are a lot harsher, nobody wants to go to school with a bright red face!

Energising conditioner : Does what it says, it soothes and softens my skin, I have also noticed that since using it my skin has been much less you oily. Like most teenagers I have days when my skin is a bit more oily and sometimes these products can make it worse. This wasn't the case with this one though.

Beauty Body Lotion : This is so nice !! It's has such a lovely scent, feels good when putting it on and leaves my skin feeling soft after use.

Beauty Body Shower: this shower gel is again very gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling very soft.

Enriching Moisturiser : this is another of my favourites !! I really like this moisturiser as it has a lovely citrus scent and works amazing on my skin.

The packaging is really pretty and they come with a leaflet that has a step by step guide on how to use the  products and more importantly when to use them in the morning and evening. I believe this is really helpful for anyone like me who wants to get the best out of the products.

I can definitely prefer these products to my normal drugstore skincare buys. I know they are more expensive than what I tend to buy, but the quality comes through and in my opinion the extra cost is worth it. As the products aren't tested on animals and they are also 100% organic, it not only makes your skin feel great  but makes you feel good about yourself also. I think it's great that you know what you are putting on your skin.

Overall In the short time I have been using them I have really been enjoying these products and I think they are amazing quality, even though they are £68. I think  they are definitely worth it and would make a really good Christmas/ Birthday Present. I suppose the real test is would I buy them for myself? and the answer is a definite yes!!

Makeup monthly favourites - September

Hi Guys

Hope you are all having a great week ? I have decided that this blogpost will be about the products I have used the most during September.

Rimmel London's Match Perfection Foundation ( 200-soft beige)

As you know I am a very big fan of Rimmel London and really enjoy all of their products especially their foundations!! Recently I have favoured wearing this foundation more than my other ones,  as this is lighter, easier to apply and provides a more natural look. Which  is essential for me and certainly the look I prefer for school . I really love this foundation, it's a bit more expensive but definitely worth it and would  recommend you try it.

Seventeen cheek stamp - ( cheek of it )

I bought this product a month ago and haven't put it down since !! When I was in boots they had an offer ( when you bought £5.99 worth of seventeen makeup, you got a cheek stamp free) and I couldn't resist. I think it is possibly the best blusher I have ever had ! I find that's it's so pigmented and very good at blending in. I would 100% buy this product again and I would recommend it to anyone.

Mua Lip Liner - ( Brooding Plum )

This is a really good lip liner especially for the price ( £1). This lip liner its amazing, I love the colour, it is perfect for lining and filling in your lips and the colour is so nice. Overall I think Mua is a really good brand especially for younger girls starting to explore the wonderful world of makeup. ( I remember I use to use MUA makeup for everything when I was starting to use makeup ) This is a really good buy and a definite recommend.

NYC lip crayon - (Park slope Peach)

Ok so I am going to finish off with my favourite product this month which is the Nyc lip crayon ! If you didn't know this I absolutely love lip crayons and they are my favourite lip products, so when I saw this I knew I was destined to have it !! This is the best lip crayon I have ever purchased it's super mosturising but not greasy and it has a nice pigment.

Brush care

What's up guys ?
Today I was really struggling to come up with ideas for a new post, as I was thinking about this I looked over at my dirty brushes and realised that they needed a clean. so I thought I would talk you through my personal brush care routine and why you need to wash your brushes on a regular basis.

Why do I need to wash my brushes ?

when your applying your makeup your brushes pick up dirt and germs from your skin and face. Then when you are putting your brushes back on your skin they are putting the germs back onto your face ( one of the reasons you get clogged pores and spots ! Eww !) I know this fact sounds disgusting but unfortunately it's extremely true. That's why you need to wash your brushes regularly.

How regularly should I wash them?

Well it depends on how they look and by this I mean if they are CAKED in makeup then they definitely need a wash but if you think they are all right you can leave them for a bit. I usually wash my brushes at least every week to  2 weeks as I don't wear makeup that much. if you are a person who would wear makeup every day then I would definitely stick to a routine of washing your brushes every week. I know that one of my friends washes her brushes every Sunday, which I personally think it's a good idea to get into a habit.

How do I wash them?

To wash my brushes I use my sink and all I do is just put them all in lukewarm water with normal hand soap and leave them to soak for about 2 minutes. After that I then pick each brush  and individually massage soap through their bristles as it gets any leftover makeup out and makes them look so much cleaner then all I do is ring out any excess water and leave them on the radiator to dry overnight. Usually this takes about 12 hours for them to properly dry out.

I hope you enjoyed that little q and a on how to wash your brushes if you would like any more information on anything said in this post please leave a comment below. Makeup Collection - Rimmel London ( collab with Makeupwithmolly )

What's up Guys,

So this is my First Blog Collab with Makeupwithmolly ( hopefully their will be many more to come) and we have decided to show you guys some of our collections !! So without further ado here is my Rimmel London makeup collection <3

So as you can see this is my favourite brand ever and especially for base makeup ! My life goals is to own every single piece of Rimmel London's collection lol !

1st - wake me up foundation ( £8.99 from UK drugstores) this is my absolute favourite foundation ever. it has really good coverage ( as I find with every foundation from Rimmel London) the anti fatigue works very well and I wear it for school as it makes my skin look good ! I have school photos on Monday so this is a must for Monday ;)

2nd - Stay Matte Powder ( £4.99 from UK drugstores) I have this quite light but I think most powders are light. I like this powder but don't wear it in the summer with foundations as it feels like to much to wear. again it's really long lasting and good coverage.

3rd- apocalips lip lacquer ( £5.99 from UK drugstores) this is so pigmented but I don't really enjoy lip lacquers as I didn't relalise when I was buying it but it's very dry and not very long lasting.

4th and 5th - soft Kohl eye liner (£3.99 from UK drugstores) I have it in grey and green and I personally wear grey more as it goes with more outfits and looks ! But they are very good .

6th - Match Perfection Foundation ( £6.99 from UK drugstores) this is a really nice foundation as well it more liquids so it's easier to apply and looks more natural than the wake me up foundation. I really love the coverage and the way it's long lasting.

7th- Matte BB Cream ( £7.99 from UK drugstores) i wore this more when i was first discovering makeup as it a moisturiser and foundation so it's not as heavy as foundation ! I do really like this product though .

8th - sun shimmer bronzer ( £5.99 from UK drugstores) again I really enjoy this bronzer but compared to my NYC I find this bronzer quite shimmery and shiny. I used this a lot in the summer as it looks quite nice in pictures ;)

9th - wake me up concealer ( £5.99 from UK drugstores) this is a really good concealer with anti fatigue and vitamin C. I always buy them a shade lighter so it brightens up it under my eyes to make my skin look brighter.

Thank you very much for reading this remember to check out the rest of the collab Makeupwithmolly's makeup collection :: http://makeupwithmolly.blogspot.co.uk
